What the tools themselves collect

The screen tools require no account and collect no personal data to function. A hex value you type, a brightness setting you drag, a colour you cycle to — none of it is ever sent to a server. Every tool runs entirely in your browser.

We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which tools are used — not who is using them. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner; declining sets no analytics cookie and has no effect on how the tools work.
